Magic Ref Web Clipper — Privacy Policy

Magic Ref Web Clipper is a browser extension that saves images and videos you choose on web pages into the Magic Ref desktop app on your own computer.
What the extension handles
- The images and videos you choose to save, and the address and title of the page they are on. On some sites, also the author's name or the post's tags shown on the page.
- Your settings: the interface language and the board you last saved to.
- A pairing token issued by the Magic Ref app when you allow the browser to connect.
Where it goes
- All of it is sent only to the Magic Ref app on the same computer, through 127.0.0.1 or the browser's native messaging. Magic Ref stores the images in the Library folder you chose.
- While Magic Ref is closed, saves wait in the extension's storage in your browser and are removed once delivered.
- To read an image, the extension requests it from the site it is on, the same way the page itself does.
- Nothing is sent to the developer or to any other party. The extension has no analytics, advertising or tracking.
Your control
You can remove saved images in Magic Ref, revoke the browser's connection in Magic Ref's settings, and remove all of the extension's data by uninstalling it.

Magic Ref Web Clipper は、Web ページ上で選んだ画像や動画を、お使いの PC 上のデスクトップアプリ Magic Ref へ保存するブラウザ拡張機能です。
扱う情報
- 保存するために選んだ画像・動画と、それがあるページのアドレス・タイトル。一部のサイトでは、ページに表示されている作者名や投稿のタグも含みます。
- 設定：画面の言語、最後に保存したボード。
- ブラウザからの接続を許可したときに Magic Ref が発行する接続用のトークン。
送信先
- これらはすべて、同じ PC 上の Magic Ref にだけ送信します（127.0.0.1、またはブラウザのネイティブ メッセージング）。画像は、指定した Library フォルダに Magic Ref が保存します。
- Magic Ref を起動していない間は、ブラウザ内の拡張機能の保存領域に一時保存し、Magic Ref に届いたあとで削除します。
- 画像を読み込むときは、ページと同じように、その画像があるサイトに要求します。
- 開発者やほかの第三者には何も送信しません。アクセス解析・広告・トラッキングはありません。
削除・停止
保存した画像は Magic Ref で削除できます。ブラウザとの接続は Magic Ref の設定で解除できます。拡張機能を削除すると、拡張機能のデータもすべて消去されます。
